About Our Products

Are Mummybrand products really natural?

Yes. Our formulations are handcrafted using food-grade and medical-grade ingredients—safe enough for infants and effective enough for adults. We began creating these for our own family, especially during severe skin sensitivity and TSW recovery. Every batch is made fresh without preservatives, fillers, or unnecessary additives.

Do your products work for eczema and TSW?

While there is no official cure for eczema or TSW, our users have seen meaningful, lasting improvement over time. Our products are designed to relieve itch, dryness, and redness while supporting the skin's natural recovery. Results may take weeks or months depending on your skin history—but consistency is key.

What if I used steroid/anti-fungal/antibiotic creams before?

If you're transitioning off medicated creams, your skin may go through a withdrawal period. This can involve redness, flaking, and increased sensitivity. We recommend taking weekly photos and giving at least 2 months of consistent use. Some users take 6 months or more, but healing is real—and sustainable.

Why do the moisturisers look unrefined?

Because we don’t add water, thickeners, or stabilisers. Our moisturisers are whipped by hand and may look uneven or fluffy—but that’s exactly why they work. They’re pure, dense, and comforting to ultra-sensitive skin, especially for those healing from TSW or barrier breakdown.

How do I tell the difference between Z-Advanced Moisturiser and Hydrating Butter?

Hydrating Butter has a slightly more yellow hue. It’s also designed for the final stages of recovery or for use on normal/dry skin—not during active flare.

When should I use Hydrating Butter?

Only after your skin has stopped itching or feeling inflamed. It’s excellent for maintaining hydration, especially on normal or recovering skin. For flare-ups, start with Z-Advanced Moisturiser instead.

Do your products cure eczema or TSW?

No skincare product can claim a cure—but many of our users have gone on to outgrow eczema or stop needing steroid creams after consistent use of Mummybrand products. Our formulations help relieve symptoms and support your skin's natural recovery cycle.

How long do your products last?

Unopened products are safe for 1 year from your order date. We recommend purchasing only what you need and avoiding bulk storage. The best place to track your expiry date is via your order history under your Mummybrand account.

Why is my product melted or dented?

We use aluminium tubs for safety and sustainability. They may dent in transit, but this does not affect product quality. Melting may occur if exposed to heat during delivery—especially in tropical climates—but does not reduce efficacy. Stir and chill to restore texture.

Usage & Results

It's been a few days—why is my skin still red and itchy?

Natural products don’t deliver overnight results, especially if you’re recovering from medication or prolonged inflammation. For best results, apply 2–3 times daily and allow at least 3 months for deeper healing. Many of our users see turning points after 6–12 weeks of consistent use.

Are you against topical steroids?

We’re not medical professionals and do not give medical advice. However, our personal journey and experience with hundreds of customers lead us to believe that natural recovery is possible—and often more sustainable—without steroids.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept PayNow, Paylah, Bank Transfer, and Credit Card. For credit card payments, a Stripe payment link will be provided upon request. Use code PAYNOW3 at checkout to enjoy a discount when using non-card methods.

Why is there a 4% credit card fee?

Credit card processing incurs a non-refundable 4% gateway fee. We choose to pass this on so we can keep our product prices affordable for all customers. PayNow, Paylah, and Bank Transfer options are fee-free.

Why wasn’t the credit card fee refunded?

The 4% processing fee goes directly to the card processor and is not returned to us. Therefore, it’s excluded from all refunds.

Why was my order cancelled?

We’re a small, family-run brand that believes in mutual respect. If an order is cancelled and refunded, it may be due to an interaction that wasn’t aligned with our values. You’re welcome to contact us to clarify any misunderstandings.

Shipping & Delivery

What is your ship-out time?

We make every batch fresh after you order. Please allow up to 7 working days before dispatch. If certain ingredients are delayed from overseas suppliers, this may take slightly longer. We recommend ordering with buffer stock if you rely on our products daily.

Why do you use Singpost Smartpac?

We’ve tested nearly all courier options—and Smartpac has proven the most reliable. It lets us drop parcels anytime and ensures delivery directly to your mailbox, reducing missed deliveries and theft. Orders too large for Smartpac are upgraded to courier delivery (like Qxpress) at no extra charge.

Can you bubble wrap my order?

We try to cushion items where needed, but space in Smartpac mailers is limited. Using extra packaging increases parcel size and shipping costs. While we take great care in packing, small dings may still occur during delivery. These are cosmetic and do not affect product efficacy.

Why is international shipping so expensive?

We use Easyship, which offers live rates from over 100 global couriers. Rates fluctuate based on weight, location, and fuel costs. We pass these rates directly to you and do not mark them up. Check back regularly for updated promotions from Easyship.
